Sabrina Bier

Sabrina Bier joined Proper Title after 11 years as a top producing Realtor in the Chicagoland area. As an awarding-winning real estate broker, Sabrina was the perfect person to take on this newly formed role within Proper Title. She has created a bridge between Chicago-area brokers and Proper Title attorneys. Attorney clients rely on Sabrina regularly as she continues to help them relate to their broker clients – often quoting that Sabrina, “speaks and thinks realtor”.

Sabrina is very active in the Chicagoland real estate industry and meets regularly with Proper Title broker clients to keep a pulse on what is happening locally in real estate market. She creates networking opportunities and provides valuable in-person and online trainings to real estate professionals on important industry topics. Throughout 2020, Sabrina took her entire education platform 100% online. Creating Virtual Real Estate Chats, Zoom trainings that double her attendance and has become a host and active participant in all things real estate on the newest social media app, Clubhouse. Sabrina works closely with Proper Title attorneys, specializing in strategic marketing plans, advising them on social media marketing, and client relationship management.

Sabrina joined Proper Title in 2016. As a licensed a real estate broker, she was honored annually from 2009 to 2015 by the Chicago Association of Realtors as a top producer, ranking among the top 10 percent of approximately 11,000 agents. Sabrina was featured on HGTV’s House Hunters in 2016. Bier has also directed sales and fundraising efforts for the University of Chicago GI Research Foundation and continues to be very involved in Proper Title’s philanthropic arm, Proper Giving. She has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Florida Atlantic University.

Jayne Corcoran

Marketing Director

As the Marketing Director at Proper Title, Jayne Corcoran oversees all the advertising, public relations, social media, and branding efforts for the agency. She works closely with management and sales, training, and operation teams to promote Proper Title. Once joining Proper Title and meeting the amazing team that makes Proper what it is, she knew this company was different than the industry norm. Proper Title is an exceptional choice for Chicagoland attorneys, brokers, lenders and commercial clients. Helping cultivate the brand and growing the agencies foot print is a great experience.

Jayne joined Proper Title in 2017 with over twenty years of real estate marketing experience. She began her career with, Sudler Residential in Chicago as a graphic designer. In 2003, she made a move to @properties where she joined their one-person marketing department - becoming the brokerage’s first graphic designer. She worked alongside owners, managing brokers, and trainers to quickly grow the corporate brand of the firm. She also worked with top brokers to help cultivate their own brand and utilize the firm’s award-winning marketing to promote their businesses. Jayne was promoted throughout her time with @properties, becoming VP of Marketing. She had the great experience of building an in-house marketing department and was able to help implement the firms marketing efforts throughout its expansion throughout Chicago and into the North Shore.

Jayne currently lives in Chicago’s Beverly neighborhood, with her family. She is a graduate of St. Norbert college with a degree in graphic communications and a minor in advertising from Bond University. Jayne sits on the school board for her children’s school as well as on the board of BAPA, a non-profit community organization serving the residents of Chicago’s Beverly/Morgan Park neighborhood.

Michael J. Rooney

A 1976 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law, Michael J. Rooney is a licensed Illinois attorney and real estate broker with over thirty years of experience in the title and escrow industry in a number of states including two years as the title insurance regulator for the State of Illinois. His title insurance positions have included both management and legal responsibilities at the local, state and regional levels. He is a recognized legal scholar and author.

He is an active member of the prestigious American College of Real Estate Lawyers, having been elected to membership in his first year of eligibility in 1987. He has served as Chairman of the Board for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education and has long been active in Realtor® and bar associations and continues to present continuing education seminars, primarily emphasizing professionalism, ethics and real estate.
